Maizie's Favorites: Heirloomed Collection

This month, we are thrilled to feature Heirloomed Collection.
With goods inspired by the past for generations to enjoy, Heirloomed is on a mission to cultivate the next generation of family heirlooms. Their keepsake colors and hand-illustrated patterns make it easy to mix-and-match their assortment of goods into your daily family gatherings around the table & into your home.
Founder, Ashley Schoenith, created Heriloomed with her Grandmother back in 2006, sewing aprons together around her kitchen table. Today, Heirloomed's product assortment includes aprons, table linens, hand-poured candles, and other keepsake gifts that can be found on their website, in independent stores across the country, and at Nordstrom.com.
I asked founder Ashley Schoenith what is her favorite design tip, and she shared:
“My signature tip is always mixing in a little vintage, whether it be for entertaining or decorating your home. I am an avid lover & collector of vintage goods (in fact we have an entire section of our online shop dedicated to these items). I love to curate pieces that catch my eye and love the craftsmanship, rich details and history behind vintage goods, so I always include them in my tablescapes, events and in my own home. I believe mixing these into your decor in a way that is current for today is a balance that provides a rich look and tons of character & conversations around these pieces.”
When asked about her favorite hostess gifts:
“Of course, I do tend to pull together hostess gifts often from our collection! We really designed the collection to mix and match across colors and patterns, so it’s fun to think of the occasion or recipient and really put together something that fits perfectly. My go-to is probably one of our patterned linen tea towels with one of our signature candles that we pour here in our studio in Atlanta. My favorite is the “Old Soul” candle, which features my favorite scent, rose.”
