Orders are placed on the website. Once you choose your house portrait product (we have several different options and add-ons!), you’ll upload your photos and your desired caption (some clients like to include the family name, address, etc). This caption will be hand inked below your portrait.

Once you’ve placed your order, please allow 4 weeks for your order to be delivered. Holiday orders for 2021 will be closed in November. Please be sure to order before then to guarantee Christmas delivery. If you need it quicker than the 3-4 week lead time, please email me at hello@maizie-clarke.com with your order number and desired delivery date.

I create my portraits from photographs. The more pictures, the better; be sure to take several different angles if possible. If you are commissioning a house that is not in your city, or is no longer there, I’m able to work from old photographs, a google street view, or realtor listings - just please make sure you send any details to hello@maizie-clarke.com that are not apparent from photographs.

I love special requests! Love your home in a certain season? Are your roses not in season but you want them captured in your portrait? Please send any requests to hello@maizie-clarke.com and I’ll do my best to accommodate.

My house portraits are hand inked, and then finished with watercolor. I create all house portraits on 140lb cold press watercolor paper. Originals are mailed in a clear sleeve and cardboard backer to prevent bending.

I’m happy to include any furry friends in a portrait, but please note, their spot in the composition will be small.

All of our ceramic pieces are decorated with ceramic decals, meaning that the piece is decorated and kiln fired making it a piece that is food safe, dishwasher safe, and safe for the oven.

I recommend washing on cold with a line dry.
